The SS12 Valentino editorial caught my eye with their beautiful location, styling, choice of models and of course the gorgeous dresses. Fei Fei Sun is one of my new muses for Starry and the ‘Of Folklore and Fashion Tales’ series, so this is great reference material as well as overall inspiration. The location of the shoot was Deborah Tuberville’s own house in Guanajuato, Mexico. A scenic desert landscape ideal for the impeccable lighting and majestic ruins. The combination of spiritual and fairy tale-like setting leads one to envision princesses in an enchanted land, stranded, forlorn but looking marvelously dressed in Valentino :)
